Janelle Dennis is an internal medicine physician with over a decade of experience delivering comprehensive primary care to diverse adult populations. She has provided longitudinal care for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, with a strong focus on care coordination, preventive medicine, and patient-centered communication. Dr. Dennis has extensive experience in both in-person and telehealth settings and is highly skilled in electronic health record management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and quality-driven clinical workflows. 

Dr. Dennis most recently served as a Primary Care Physician at United Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she managed complex medical conditions, coordinated care with emergency, hospitalist, and specialty teams, and partnered closely with nursing and administrative staff to optimize patient outcomes. Earlier in her career, she held several clinical leadership and academic roles at Harlem Hospital, New York, including Associate Clinic Chief, Clerkship Director affiliated with Columbia University School of Medicine. 

In addition to her clinical background, Dr. Dennis holds a master’s degree in strategic communication from American University, enhancing her ability to lead teams, educate patients and clinicians, and translate complex medical information into clear, actionable guidance. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College and completed residency training in Internal Medicine–Pediatrics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
