MRCS Welcomes Janelle Dennis M.D. as Physician Advisor

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Janelle Dennis, M.D. as MRCS’s new Physician Advisor!

With more than a decade of experience delivering comprehensive primary care, Dr. Dennis brings deep clinical expertise across acute and chronic care, care coordination, preventive medicine, and patient-centered communication. Her background spans both in-person and telehealth settings, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, quality-driven workflows, and effective use of EHRs to improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Dennis most recently served as a Primary Care Physician at United Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she partnered closely with emergency, hospitalist, specialty, nursing, and administrative teams to manage complex cases and optimize continuity of care. Earlier in her career, she held clinical leadership and academic roles at Harlem Hospital, including Associate Clinic Chief and Clerkship Director in affiliation with Columbia University School of Medicine.

In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Dennis holds a master’s degree in strategic communication from American University—bringing a unique lens to physician leadership, education, and operational collaboration. We’re excited to have her insight, expertise, and leadership as part of the MRCS community.
