Maryland Medicaid Provider Alert: The MPRIME Transition Is Underway

Maryland Medicaid is transitioning from ePREP to the new Maryland Provider Registration and Information Management Enterprise—or MPRIME—portal in October 2026.

As of August 1, applications for all provider risk categories are temporarily on hold. New or updated applications submitted during the hold will be returned without processing.

Maryland providers and enrollment teams should:

✔️ Monitor outstanding revalidation requirements

✔️ Track applications that may require follow-up after the transition

✔️ Review internal enrollment and credentialing workflows

✔️ Prepare appropriate staff for MPRIME training

Taking action now can help reduce enrollment disruptions when the new portal launches.
