Despite what some may think, HIPAA compliance regulations are not getting rolled back. As a matter of fact, there have been 7 recent HIPAA violation enforcement actions under the Trump administration and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). There has been over $145 million in HIPAA fines and penalties imposed since HIPAA started being enforced. This webinar will look at each of the recent actions to see how these organizations were in violation of HIPAA requirements. Find out if your organization’s HIPAA compliance program is defensible.


The webinar will also look at the anticipated changes to the HIPAA Security Rule to strengthen cybersecurity safeguards.
