About the event
The 2026 PHIT Week Workshop was a free virtual program hosted by PHIT4DC to introduce current high school students and recent high school graduates in the DMV to the exciting and rapidly growing field of Public Health Informatics and Technology (PHIT).
Held August 17–21, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM ET via Zoom, the workshop served as one of the final training experiences within the PHIT4DC Workforce Training Program. Throughout the week, participants explored how technology, data, and innovation are transforming public health and healthcare delivery.
